Here in Pennsylvania, massage therapists are urging clients, friends and family to contact their state representatives and let them know they support licensing for massage therapists.
In Delaware County we need to contact the chairman of the committee - our own Rep. Tom Gannon (610-461-5543). Local Reps. Tom Killion (610-325-1541), Nicholas Micozzie (610-259-2820) and Stephen Barrar (610-485-7606) are all members of the committee.
Please contact their offices and let them know you support this bill.
Licensing massage therapists will:

• Establish educational guidelines.
• Protect the public from unqualified practitioners.
• Protect the public against solicited massage and those who represent themselves as massage therapist.
• Facilitate direct insurance billing.
